We can't speak highly enough about our wedding at the Castello di Petrata in September and would recommend getting married there x1000 especially for couples getting married abroad.
The team especially Georgia, Giovanni and Giuseppina were wonderful from the start. No query or problem was ever too much and worked hard to accommodate all our guests. Even last minute changes to the guest list were no trouble.
We had a welcome party the day before the wedding and the food, music and entertainment were worth the extra expense. All the wedding food was incredible - locally produced, fresh and so flavoursome. Our wedding cake was beautiful and made to our specifications.
The wedding itself was beyond our wildest dreams. They worked well with our wedding planners and everything was organised perfectly.

We had our wedding at Castello di Petrata in August 2024, and everything was perfect.
The venue itself was stunning with beautiful grounds and phenomenal views everywhere you looked. The pool was big enough for our entire wedding party with plenty of sunny and shady spaces for everybody. And the benefit of being up the valley was also appreciated with a nice breeze cooling that summer heat.
The rooms were also excellent, equipped with everything that was needed and designed really well with a rustic charm that fits in the vibe of the venue.
The staff always went above and beyond, anything and everything we asked for they were able to accommodate and more, bringing seconds of our delicious wedding dinner to creating entire dancefloors where there used to be nothing everybody we encountered was fantastic.
If anybody is even half considering having a wedding here we would 100% recommend considering Castello di Petrata, you will not regret it!

We are in Assisi, in Umbria region, in the centre of Italy, on the edge of Tuscany and only 2 hours from Rome. Assisi, is the city of San Francesco, close to Perugia and Trasimeno lake, surrounded by hills with olive grooves and vineyards, a stunning backdrop for an unforgettable sunset.
